The Narrative Campaign Strikes Back. As highly requested by fans, Slitherine and developer FutuRats have prepared a special surprise for Skulls Festival: a brand-new narrative campaign for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, featuring the Sisters of Battle waging a no-holds-barred fight against the merciless Orks.
For this year’s Skulls occasion, Slitherine is also releasing a new unit pack for Warhammer 40,000: Gladius including the long awaited Aeldari Craftworld Vyper and the relentless Rubric Marine for the Chaos Space Marines.
During the event, there will also be discounts for both titles (on PC and consoles), and for a limited period, players will be able to add Warhammer 40,000: Gladius to their Steam libraries for free.
Deeds of the Fallen contains twelve missions, where fans can play as the Sisters of Battle through a story-driven campaign against the Orks. The Adepta Sororitas will receive three new units, Imagifier, Castigator Battle Tank, Zephyrim – to fight in the name of the Emperor. This is a milestone for this beloved Warhammer 40,000 game, as the community has long asked to play a narrative campaign with Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector gameplay and dynamics.
The surprises don’t end there: Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector fans are treated to a free major update that not only adds a new game mode, the Crusade Mode, but two free units as well.
The Crusade Mode is a new game feature that will challenge players to start with a basic army and fight their way through hordes of enemies, to earn the opportunity to expand both their forces and firepower. The mode also adds a new way to level up the troops, with a new experience system based on the ferocity of the battle, with a variety of ways to upgrade entire classes of troops.
The two free units are the Dominions for the Adepta Sororitas faction and the Orks Boyz with Choppas for the Orks.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is giving fans everything they asked for to enjoy the game, and more: the base game will be on sale at a 70% discount, while the DLCs will have discounts of up to 40% for the entire week of the Skulls Festival.
Even Warhammer 40,000: Gladius fans will not be disappointed, as Slitherine and Proxy Studios are releasing the Onslaught Pack, which includes exciting new units such as:
During the Warhammer Skulls event, the Warhammer 40,000: Gladius franchise will be discounted by up to 50%. Available only on PC, the game will also be free to keep for a limited period on Steam, from May 22nd to 29th.
